It is easy to get to Bank Museum Jakarta as it’s located very centrally. The address is Jl. Pintu Besar Utara No.3. You will easily find it on Google Maps. If you are already in the city either use public transport or grab. Jakarta Kota which is the railway station is also just a few hundred meters away.
When you see the front of the building you will also quickly see the gate where the entrance is.

Bank Museum Jakarta’s opening hours depend on what day it is.
The museum is open six days a week, closed on Mondays and Public Holidays. The last entry is at 2:30 p.m. The opening hours are 08:00 a.m. – 03:30 p.m.
Beat the Crowds
For a quieter experience, consider visiting on weekdays during the early hours. There is good Airciondition in the facilities so you might consider going here just to relax for an hour or two. Bust there isn’t anywhere to sit down except the cinema room.
Admission Fees and Available Discounts
The standard ticket price for entering the museum is Rp, 5,000. According to some blogs it cost Rp, 20,000 for foreigners but I only had to pay 5,000 as a foreigner. The museum offers discounts for students, senior citizens, and groups with 10 or more members.

Make the Most of Your Visit
While the museum invites photography, some areas have restrictions, and mostly you can’t use flashing lights when taking photos.
You will also have to store your bag where you pay the entrance fee. They lend you a transparent bag you can keep you’re passport and phone in.
Jakarta can both be very hot and exhausting when exploring the city. Visiting the Bank Museum is a nice break from the city, especially if you have walked in the heat for some hours.
